The Broken Arm Reinvents Alluring with Salomon's Sizzling Slip-On.

Salomon's latest collaboration with The Broken Arm unveils the Rx Travel 6.0, a slip-on shoe that reimagines comfort and style. This is not your average sneaker; it’s the type your orthopedist might prescribe if they were up-to-date with the freshest trends. Part of Salomon's Rx sneaker line, the Rx Travel 6.0 is dedicated to recovery and relaxation, making it an ideal companion for leisurely days.

The Broken Arm's interpretation of the Salomon Rx Travel 6.0 boasts a lightweight 3D mesh upper, intricately stitched with vibrant threads, and paired with a Fuze Foam EVA midsole. These features check all the boxes for unparalleled comfort, but what truly distinguishes this shoe is its distinctive aesthetic. Unlike typical Salomons, the Rx Travel 6.0 offers a unique design that makes a statement.

I first encountered Salomon's Rx line through its collaboration with Sandy Liang in April 2023. While the pink XT-6 sneakers were captivating, Liang's version of the Salomon Rx Moc 3.0 piqued my interest more. It was a subtler, more relaxed take on GORP fashion. Since then, I’ve been closely following Salomon's Rx collaborations, such as their inventive Mary Jane shoe and the floral collaboration with BEAMS, which introduced a fresh spin on traditional gardening shoes.

The allure of the Rx Travel 6.0 lies in its deviation from the overused XT-6 colorways and collaborations. While the XT-6 remains a favorite, the market is flooded with its variations, much like the oversaturation of Nike Dunks. It’s invigorating to see Salomon exploring new models and designs, presenting something novel and exciting.

As the weather heats up, it’s the perfect time to opt for footwear that melds comfort with style. While foam Crocs and cork-footbed Birkenstocks are summer go-tos, the Rx Travel 6.0 provides a refreshing alternative. Launching on June 20, these slip-ons are the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe, offering plush comfort and lightweight materials that allow the coolest summer breeze.
