In a bold fusion of performance wear and avant-garde fashion, adidas and Yohji Yamamoto's Y-3 Atelier returns with its highly anticipated second collection. Embracing a monochromatic aesthetic and cutting-edge GORE-TEX® materials, the line pushes the boundaries of athletic wear into the realm of high fashion.

Dubbed as the epitome of Y-3's vision, the latest Y-3 Atelier collection reimagines Yamamoto's signature pieces through the lens of fully-seamed, waterproof GORE-TEX® fabrics. The lineup boasts a range of meticulously tailored garments, including sleek vests, coats, parkas, blousons, jackets, and blazers, all in striking black hues. These pieces are adorned with extended seams, flap pockets, and reflective logos, seamlessly blending functionality with sophistication.
Captured in a visually striking campaign by photographer Thue Nørgaard, the collection exudes dynamism, emphasizing exaggerated movement, angular structures, and subtle three-striped detailing.
The launch of Y-3 Atelier's second installment marks another milestone in the longstanding partnership between adidas and Yamamoto. Launched in March of the previous year to commemorate 20 years of collaboration, the elevated in-line division introduced a range of "Monozukuri" creations, including asymmetrical maxi dresses and essential trench coats. These designs paid homage to adidas' iconic design language while highlighting Yamamoto's intricate production process.
The new Y-3 Atelier collection will be available starting March 15 at select Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME stores, as well as online. It promises to redefine the boundaries between fashion and sportswear, offering enthusiasts a unique blend of performance and avant-garde style.
